Pop Up Yoga – Sunday, February 17th at 3:30 PM at Wesley UMC in Nederland, Texas

It’s happening again!  A beginners yoga class at Wesley UMC, 3515 Helena Avenue, Nederland, Texas.

  • Doors open at 3:15 PM.
  • $10 yoga class to benefit the Youth program at Wesley….thank YOU!
  • Class starts promptly at 3:30 PM.
  • Come a bit early to sign in, get your yoga props (a block, blanket and strap, and yoga mat if you need it), find your place in the foyer.
  • Foyer located in the sanctuary building, which is the building closest to the street!

Response has been overwhelming.  People want to know about using yoga for building bone density (bmd – on those dexascans folks).  Wow!

Here I am several years ago demonstrating these yoga poses.  But the thing is, one can do a pose, but are you actually being active in the pose?  Pressing your foot into your inner thigh, pressing the feet apart in a wide stance, while shoulders being aligned, and dynamically extending arms opposite directions, while pushing feet opposite directions?

Was that a long sentence or what?
