  • Learn and practice 12 yoga poses that have been shown in the Yoga vs. Osteoporosis study to help increase bone strength.
  • No yoga experience is necessary but familiarity would be helpful.
  • These classes – lessons are suitable for someone with osteopenia or osteoporosis.

I teach yoga lessons that are focused on bone strength using dynamic tension, duration and alignment — to have the most effective practice for bone strength.  Over 18 years teaching experience, Gail (that’s me) has taken the YogaUOnline Osteoporosis course with Dr. Loren Fishman & Ellen Saltonstall, and is currently enrolled in the Osteoporosis Osteopenia international study.

This study has had positive results with yoga facilitating increased bone strength.
