Christine is offering a 4-week online course, that you’ll not want to miss out on for Yoga for Scoliosis.  I took this course personally two years ago

Modified Sun Salutes for Yoga in Nederland, Texas – with Yoga Teacher, Gail Pickens-Barger

Lately I’ve been posting a lot in my private facebook group Yoga for Pacemakers & ICDS about modified versions of the Salute to the Sun.  Thought I’d share with you the sequences!

Part of the challenge is to slowly come down to the floor from modified plank to cobra or sphinx.  Engaging the chest muscles with an implanted device is somewhat challenging!  As always keep it between easy and the ouch!  My older daughter demonstrating the sequences!

Come to my Beginning Yoga classes at Wesley UMC in Nederland, Texas.  Mondays at 6:15 pm and Thursdays at 10 am.  Also search on facebook “Yoga for Pacemakers” to join the group.

Happy Birthday my little yogini!

My littlest kiddo turns 11 today.  Now that she is a tween, it isn’t “cool” to yoga with her mum as much.  That’s okay, we still do “car yoga” on the way to school each day!  Love it!

He also went on to tell me that he has wires in his chest that connect from the pacemaker to his heart.

I humbly told him that I personally didn’t have any specific information to provide as I hadn’t learned anything addressing pacemakers and yoga. However, I told him to definitely listen to…
