Depicted here are the kids version of the Salute to the Sun.  Typically kids and young adults have the ability to do yoga poses with little or no modification.  But, usually these groups do not have the awareness of their bodies, and as a teacher, you should still coach them to be aware of alignment, posture, and placement for a good overall safe yoga practice.  Go YogaKiddos!

Here I am several years ago demonstrating these yoga poses.  But the thing is, one can do a pose, but are you actually being active in the pose?  Pressing your foot into your inner thigh, pressing the feet apart in a wide stance, while shoulders being aligned, and dynamically extending arms opposite directions, while pushing feet opposite directions?

Was that a long sentence or what?
